IMPORTANT: Open Enrollment for the 2025 Plan Year is ACTIVE. This means that even if you are enrolled and happy with your coverage and costing in 2024, you will need to actively re-elect all benefits, including health, dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, life insurance, and commuter benefits, in order to have active coverage in 2025. If you do not submit your elections through Employee Navigator between December 4th, 2024 and December 12th, 2024, you will lose all benefits effective January 1st, 2025.

Enroll for Your 2025 Employer Sponsored Healthcare Plans

It's that time of year again. Open Enrollment ("OE") is your only opportunity to shop for, adjust, terminate, and enroll in employer sponsored healthcare benefits. Important Healthcare Plan Updates for 2025

As your Employer of Record, PGC works with our insurance broker each year to source and secure the best possible healthcare plans at the lowest price. We have witnessed significant increases across all providers with several external factors driving this including inflation, repercussions of COVID-19, and uptake in usage of medical services along with the current economic climate.

After intensive negotiations with our 2024 healthcare insurance carrier, we have decided to transfer to a new provider as the existing was unable to offer competitive pricing in line with market averages. We've opted to transition to United Healthcare as the provider of your healthcare plans in 2025.

Here are the main changes to be aware of before enrolling in your benefits for next year.

Our New Healthcare Carrier is United Healthcare

Our 2025 medical benefits will be transitioning to United Healthcare. United was established in 1977 and are in the top 3 largest US health insurance providers by membership. They have an extensive nationwide network of over 1.3 million providers and is utilized by over 235,000 employers across the US.

Additional benefits of utilising United Healthcare healthcare plans include:

  • A more advanced user portal - Easy access to your healthcare plans via United Healthcare's app.

  • United Healthcare expands your existing hospital and provider network.

  • United Healthcare customer support team - If you have any questions on your healthcare plans.

  • Out of Network Coverage included in all three plan tiers

We recommend that you carefully review the plans, so that you are familiar with:

  • All the offerings

  • Benefit pricing for 2025

  • Your information to confirm it's correct.

Don't have benefits coverage?

It is important to note, if you currently do not have benefits coverage through PGC and wish to have coverage beginning in 2025, you will need to make your elections during the assigned Open Enrollment period.

Please note that only full-time workers (averaging 30+ hours per week) are eligible for benefits.

We recommend that you carefully review the plans, so that you are familiar with all the offerings, 2025 benefit pricing, and can confirm that all your information is correct

Submit Your Healthcare Plan Elections or Changes on Employee Navigator
