We are looking for a Relationship Manager (Account Manager) to help us contribute to our client’s success and development. This is a key department in our solutions-focused company and is responsible for managing our client’s full life cycle.

An Opportunity to Work With International Clients

As Relationship/account manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining highly proactive long-term relationships with PGC direct client groups. You will be operating as a 360 Account Manager to help us contribute to our client’s success and development.

This is a key department in our solutions-focused company and is responsible for managing the full life cycle of PGC’s direct clients and their workforce. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for :

  • Implementing our direct clients

  • Managing client health

  • Managing our direct client’s workforce

  • Building strong relationships with clients and their workforce.

The role is vital in supporting and strengthening our close relationships with clients. Based remotely, you’ll report daily to the VP of Client Experience. To be successful in this position we are looking for an individual that has a proactive, consultative, and relational approach. Our clients will see you as an extension of their own team, they will describe you as a key contributor to their success!

The Client Experience Team plays a huge role in the day-to-day operations of PGC as they work directly with our clients, understanding their goals and nurturing a positive relationship with them. Working remotely in various parts of the U.S. including New York, Florida, and Michigan, the focus is that of a collaborative, team-first approach, meeting regularly online for support and general catch-ups.

Every Friday, the team chills out with a game to wind down before the weekend. They have a range of passions including exploring the outdoors, art, music, fitness, and last but not least, cats and dogs! The successful applicant will join our team remotely but we do have an office space in New York for team members to access when they want to.

What You’ll be Doing as Our Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Responsible for the full lifecycle management of PGC’s direct clients including client onboarding and off-boarding, account management, and being a point of contact for all client/worker questions.

  • Work closely with direct clients (acting as an extension of their team) to understand their business needs and have them setup for success with PGC.

  • Provide high-touch support to direct client and their workers via phone and email as needed. Work through creative solutions to effectively communicate with and answer customer questions, provide guidance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, and route feedback

  • Ensure that the direct client has a clear and comfortable understanding of PGC’s platform, and our solution through implementations, training, and proactive outreach.

  • Build long-term relationships with clients and their workforce.

  • Ensure direct client understands PGC’s operations and any limitations that could impact their workforce.

  • Advise and provide solutions to your client’s strategic operational challenges. Understand our direct clients’ challenges and identify ways PGC can better address those needs.

Operations:

  • The Relationship Manager will work cross functionally with the following teams to provide a seamless client experience - Business Development and Growth, Client Experience, Payroll, and Compliance team.

  • Managing the direct client workforce including, onboarding their workers, creating onboarding package, terminations, and any workforces’ changes

  • Create client resources, marketing materials, training on the US/Canadian onboarding/operational process, compliance, and insights into business opportunities

  • Implement internal process change, working cross-functionally to streamline processes.

  • Facilitate catch-ups, quarterly meetings, training, updates, maintaining a high level of client engagement, aligning with the experience teams KPI’s and set targets.

  • Assume any additional responsibilities, tasks, and or projects as assigned by the senior leadership team as directed.

Compliance:

  • Identify key contacts at our direct clients (operational point of contact, finance, compliance, and HR) and establish and foster relationships.

  • Embody the PGC brand and advocate for your customers’ best interests with key stakeholders with PGC’s cross functional teams.

  • Innovative - Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly. Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced environment.    Aptitude for learning new products and simplifying complicated topics and explaining them in terms people can understand.

  • Adaptability - Ability to work well with others and assume leadership for the account management. Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks at one time.Professional and engaging, with solid organizational and time management skills

  • Customer Relationship Management - Must understand customer relationship management (CRM). Experience in applying creative solutions to a variety of problems.

  • Salary - Up to $56,000 pending location and experience (+ uncapped reward scheme)

  • Monthly Reward Incentive – Starts 3 months after you have been assigned a client and is based on set client growth metrics. Uncapped.

  • PTO - 20 days paid time off plus select holidays.

  • Hours - Full-time exempt position, 9am - 6pm, Monday – Friday EST.

  • Travel - Occasional travel may be required between PGC offices and to client sites.

  • Remote - Fully remote role (unless you’re located in New York Metro area or Austin, Texas) - we do require that you have an adequate and reliable internet connection (ideally with a minimum of 50mbps/50mbps), and have a workspace/office set-up that is fully-functioning, where you can work with without interruption and background disruptions.
