The Role
As a US Expansion Consultant, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships through consultancy-based sales in a B2B capacity alongside continuously maximising growth opportunities. You will currently be working in a business development role and have a proven track record of growing sales.
With the sales and marketing team based in the UK; this role will be based out of our Liverpool Office. Consultants will be expected to work on a hybrid basis in the office Tuesday – Thursday and work from home, Monday and Friday providing a suitable work-from-home set up.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Management of the PGC sales funnel ensuring all opportunities are recorded and managed with a high win rate.
Develop a detailed understanding of PGC's proposition, pricing, and operational functions.
Understand the needs of prospective clients and appropriately position PGC’s proposition and solutions.
Meet with prospective clients face to face or through video conferencing, fostering, and developing meaningful relationships with clients.
Deliver daily business development activities to generate new business and manage ongoing client relationships.
Deliver presentations and potential training to prospective and new clients.
Discuss and contribute to sales campaigns and activities within the marketing team.
Attend industry seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
Keep abreast of trends and changes across the business landscape and market.

The Business Development team plays a key role in our organisation, helping recruitment agencies and businesses looking to expand to North America get to grips with the new market and set them up to succeed in the US and Canada.
Our Business Development and Marketing team, work in various locations across the UK with two main hubs in Liverpool and Belfast, and with additional members of the team in London and Sheffield.
As a team we meet up regularly to spend the day working together in an office, which is usually followed by dinner and drinks!

About You
2+ years’ experience in recruitment, HR or payroll sectors.
Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding targets alongside key performance indicators.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an acute relationship building talent with all levels of an organisation.
A self-motivated and highly driven individual with an attitude for success.
A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, while maintaining team role
Commercially minded and confident with clients, providing sound advice that’s guided by an understanding of their objectives and knowledge of what solutions fit well.
Experience of using digital channels to engage with different audiences.
